These loads can be broadly classified into four groups: dead loads, live loads, impact loads, and environmental loads.</div><div><br></div><div>- **<b>Dead loads</b>** are the constant loads that result from the self-weight of the structure and its permanent components, such as walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, etc. Dead loads are calculated by multiplying the density of the material with the dimensions of the structural element.</div><div><br></div><div>- **<b>Live loads</b>** are the variable loads that result from the occupancy and use of the structure, such as people, furniture, equipment, vehicles, etc. Live loads depend on the function and location of the structure and are usually specified by codes and standards.</div><div><br></div><div>- **<b>Impact loads</b>** are the sudden or dynamic loads that result from the application of a force over a short period of time, such as moving vehicles, vibrating machinery, dropped weights, etc. Impact loads cause larger stresses in the structure than those produced by gradually applied loads of the same magnitude.</div><div><br></div><div>- **<b>Environmental loads</b>** are the loads that result from natural phenomena or human activities that affect the structure, such as wind, snow, rain, earthquake, temperature, fire, etc. Environmental loads vary in intensity and frequency depending on the location and climate of the structure.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><b>Types of loads on a structure beams</b></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Step 1. Clean area were you need to grout well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixy52lldcDVtIedBz2S88s2gF9WuS-ZzVBHU_KorgA_JTalAXpktXnaN-4sTY-sowJM1wJOcPFvH1QKG-fvLi7herw5MLi7YB5W90cl_10b1HVwwjVKeQs_8wmA20HKnEwef7AtzzQm5c/s1600/20190202_091542.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixy52lldcDVtIedBz2S88s2gF9WuS-ZzVBHU_KorgA_JTalAXpktXnaN-4sTY-sowJM1wJOcPFvH1QKG-fvLi7herw5MLi7YB5W90cl_10b1HVwwjVKeQs_8wmA20HKnEwef7AtzzQm5c/s320/20190202_091542.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Step 2. Put a timber covering around the area.. lets say 50mm bigger<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5WXfPI83WV3Zgjbp-G3yO0g3BDtKLv5WGsvHZJpKHd4hg4qQGv1U5kY-ZaL9IRXjcwXWm71fN2QniFOEhxz9WKvUWLP5JFq1Ixt_8Wv6wGSR3z06uQCkBCE0og-R5VyrtygnQXY6t4Hw/s1600/20190202_091532.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5WXfPI83WV3Zgjbp-G3yO0g3BDtKLv5WGsvHZJpKHd4hg4qQGv1U5kY-ZaL9IRXjcwXWm71fN2QniFOEhxz9WKvUWLP5JFq1Ixt_8Wv6wGSR3z06uQCkBCE0og-R5VyrtygnQXY6t4Hw/s320/20190202_091532.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Step 3. lift the H beam and put it on the bolts/ anchore rods and check if it fits.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaLZU38iq9oqnPDhVBsPRTirTtmSvu9lEHUcGB52KkDNCRwQaW2GCS0hck_9wQ_wc7gklVYm3NEeEf0mBCNj4T-ZOOjjQjMimhU7lynBiqJh0XN9hP2NM9rxb9bu5Y35Q6MTthlOXsReI/s1600/20190202_132605.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaLZU38iq9oqnPDhVBsPRTirTtmSvu9lEHUcGB52KkDNCRwQaW2GCS0hck_9wQ_wc7gklVYm3NEeEf0mBCNj4T-ZOOjjQjMimhU7lynBiqJh0XN9hP2NM9rxb9bu5Y35Q6MTthlOXsReI/s320/20190202_132605.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Step 4.. once your sure on it.. keep the beam on a side bit far from the work area.. lets say about 2 meters, so that you can have space for mixing the grout and other preprations.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZPk_xigeGxMT6J61k9qgXWFGtnapBKf4kroJuRIiyk98XKvSpokcZAg6U2SzpwLtrWatVVRdZ4MCcLsIofIDN3PcS36eA8GJEHEGQL8nag4-LIuFHYZJhgvG5V-bnL7Las5l3vrpamag/s1600/20190202_144211.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZPk_xigeGxMT6J61k9qgXWFGtnapBKf4kroJuRIiyk98XKvSpokcZAg6U2SzpwLtrWatVVRdZ4MCcLsIofIDN3PcS36eA8GJEHEGQL8nag4-LIuFHYZJhgvG5V-bnL7Las5l3vrpamag/s320/20190202_144211.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

<br />
Tip; if you look at the above vedio, you will notice that they have put a steel packing or steel sim or steel packer under the H beam steel column. This is that when the grouting set it may squeez the whole grout out.. and it will make it easy to level.Goldintonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03741557243739479253noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4367324907717269627.post-66845073216875469702018-12-02T01:40:00.003-08:002018-12-02T01:40:54.736-08:00How to properly maintain your steel beams and ms sheetsBelow is a step by step guide on how you can treat your steel beams or ms sheets which are not coated in the manufacture process.<br />

<br />
The eSmart Range is equipped with Human Machine Interface (HMI) control panel that has the IFM Display, which allows the driver to <span style="text-align: justify;">determine the real time operating status of the machine and diagnosing faults. The IFM displays the various parameters which allows to continuously monitor the, pump. Thanks to a reba ble faiult management system, the machine can be fully operational in the event of a failure, and even in emergency operations. Up-to-date feedback and system information for the machine appear in real time on the </span><br />
display.<br />
<br />
Safety Features<br />
- The er ' ergency switch on the control panel is very easy to access. It stops the entire operation of the mulching when pressed in case<br />
of emergency,<br />
- RSA-Grill Safety switch - if the hopper grill is open, the pump and agitator will not operate arid will prevent accident.<br />
<br />
Oil Saver<br />
The 0PS design drastically reduces the operational costs. The BSA eSmart product range requires only 70-1 00 litres of hydraulic oil-thanks to the Open Pumping System (0PS). Due to this revolutionary OPS system, the consumption of hydraulic oil gets reduced by 70-1 00 litres which is almost 3.5 times lesser compared to the oii needed for an equivalent machine from other brands (internal oil change remains the same i.e. 500 pumping hours or 1500-2000 engine hours). This spectacular reducHon In hydraulic oil will give you lifelong savings on every hydraulic oil change.<br />

This index is written in parentheses after the group or subgroup designation.<br />
<br />
The group index is given by the: equation<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLEkMRH99coZR5OKNIujI7biy08ZlQAq2hoqwxDH9Re4IKXIjQb4w3E45YZ3kbP-C8SU5DGECb1xIUlWBLOFKGQHUsvebbSnw4arNX-13VaI0GPgPfGPccNo-Ixek3YoAjTcnaIYUZQ4k/s1600/20181107_182854.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="386" data-original-width="1600" height="96" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLEkMRH99coZR5OKNIujI7biy08ZlQAq2hoqwxDH9Re4IKXIjQb4w3E45YZ3kbP-C8SU5DGECb1xIUlWBLOFKGQHUsvebbSnw4arNX-13VaI0GPgPfGPccNo-Ixek3YoAjTcnaIYUZQ4k/s400/20181107_182854.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Equation </td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
Example<br />
<br />
The results of the particle-size analysis of a soil are as follows:<br />
<br />
- Percent passing through the No 10 sieve 100<br />
- Percent passing through the No 40 sieve - 80<br />
- Percent passing through the No 200 sieve<br />
<br />
The liquid limit and plasticity index of the minus No. 40 fraction of the soil are 30 and 10, respectively. Classify the soil by the AASHTO system.<br />
<br />
<b>Solution</b><br />
Using Table 3.1, since 58% of the soil is passing through the No. 200 sieve. it falls under silt-clay classifications - that is, it falls under group A-4, A-5, A-6, or A-7.<br />
<br />
Proceeding from left to right, it falls under group A-4.<br />
From Eq. (3.1)<br />
<br />
Gi = (F200-35) + 0.005(LL - 40)) + 0.01(F200 - 15)(Pi-10)<br />
= (58 - 35)(o.2 + o.o05(30 - 40)) + (o.o1)(58 - 15)(1o - 1o)<br />
=3.45~3<br />
<br />
So. the soil will be classified as A-4(3).<br />
<br />

This is plate where we need to drill for 42mm dia bolt.. so just to fit it we are gonna drill a 45mm dia meter hole on a 25mm ms sheet... so<br />
<br />
1.4 x d= 1.4x45= 63mm<br />
As u can see.. center of hole to safe edge distance is 63mm<br />
<br />

Distance between 2 hole to be 2.5xD , where D is diameter of the hole.<br />
<br />
Below is from code of practice BS code<br />
6.2.1 Bolt spacing<br />
6.2.1.1 minimum spacing<br />
<br />
For standard clearance holes or holes for fitted bolts the spacing between centres of bolts should not be less than 2.5d. where d is the nominal diameter ofthe bolts- For oversize holes or slotted holes the hole sparing should be increased to leave at least tbe same width of steel clear between the holes as for standard clearance holes.<br />
